25 CHAMPIONS | For 25 years FLING Physical Theatre has been a home for young people in the Bega Valley to create, grow and engage through contemporary performance.

We are now searching for 25 Champions to help raise $25,000 and support the next chapter of this work.
What began as a small, pioneering calling in regional Australia has become, thanks to you, a cornerstone of the local community and a significant presence in the youth arts landscape. A consistent space where young people return week after week to build lasting friendships and develop both artistic and personal practice in a professional environment.

A Champion believes young people should have access to serious creative opportunities, no matter where they live.
Become one of our 25 Champions.

Our Regional Industry Education Partnerships program brought young people from schools across the region together for a performing arts industry immersion.
Talented young artists worked alongside industry professionals across dance, lighting design, costume design, and sound design.

Participants built practical career skills and experienced what it’s really like to present live performance. From developing artistic CVs and bios to collaborating on an original performance outcome, the week was all about exploring the pathways into the creative industries and discovering new possibilities.

Many thanks to our facilitating artists Sam Martin Kyle Wilson Patrick Meessmann Yaya Wigs Gerry Corcoran Chris Wade

Regional Industry Education Partnerships Program is funded by the NSW Department of Education.
