My name is Elspeth Cope, I’m a 21 year old artist currently based in Toowoomba, Australia. I specialize in watercolour painting and photography, but have experience with a range of art forms, including other medium of painting, sculpture, printmaking, and ceramics. I focus on paintings and macro photography of plants and flowers, including edited, layered artworks, or single image works. I also am an aspiring author/illustrator of childrens books. My subject matter changes and adapts depending on what has currently gotten my interest, so expect a range of things to appear. I have a Bachelors Degree in Creative Arts- Visual Art. I graduated from the University of Southern Queensland - Toowoomba in 2015. I have attended two McGregor Winter Schools (2011, 2013) and a McGregor Summer School (2012). I founded the business Falling Leaves and Feathers in 2011, under the name Elly’s Dreams, as a way to sell my artworks. This has evolved as I went through high school and then university, forming the business I currently have. I hope this business continues to grow and evolve as I grow and evolve. I can be contacted here, or through my other social media platforms, or at [email protected] or [email protected]
