YARN FEST IS COMING!

The annual expo returns for another year of celebrating all things yarn and fibre at MSEC. It brings makers and artisans together to explore materials and learn new skills.

There will be markets that showcase merino, alpaca and cotton yarn types. These fibres include hand-dyed and organic options, with a range of textures available. A range of fibre craft supplies and equipment will also be available including:

roving for spinners
tools for knitting and crochet
accessories and so much more!
There will even be alpacas onsite giving you a closer look at the source of many natural fibres.

Throughout the expo, there will be many demonstrations showcasing spinning and lacemaking techniques. Workshops will also cover felting, weaving, botanical dyeing, and beginner knitting and crochet giving you a chance to try your hand at something new.

The expo offers an exciting experience for anyone interested in fibre craft. Come along and discover for yourself over this yarn filled weekend.

Regardless of why you did what you did, it was disgusting. And I believe it’s not the first time either.

To take something from a small business, WHO DOESNT EVEN GET TO PAY HERSELF, is the most selfish behaviour and I won’t stand for it.

We have security cameras, we can see every point in the store, and turning your back to one doesn’t stop another from catching you.
SHOP LIFTERS WILL HAVE THEIR ACCOUNTS BANNED. Any orders moving forward will be cancelled.

I FOUND US SOMEONE TO PAINT EYES.

We’re adding another creative to the shop! These handpainted eyes are currently going under the Paige’s Crochet label, but they are not painted by me ☺️ lord knows I do not have time for that 🤭 but she’s only painting for me so we get these glorious eyes just for us.

It’s also still really hard to capture the beauty with the camera 😒
