Mr G has been out in his workshop this week creating gorgeous coffee bean storage containers.

The timber came from a very old Oregon desk that was destined to be taken to the tip more than 20 years ago.

He pulled it to pieces, removed the old varnish, screws and nails, put it through the thicknesser and did his magic with the wood.

There was quite a bit of maths that went into it working out the volume for the beans to fit a kilo of beans in perfectly.

The internal is left raw and the outside is finished with scandinavian oil.

With a new baby coming into our family shortly, I thought I had better get my act into gear and work on the baby quilt.
The theme is baby animals, brown and cream colours for the background
I am working on some newer baby animals I have not stitched before, and they are looking so cute.
I have just laid them out on a backing so they will cling to it, this is not the final layout, I will decide on that once I have stitched all the panels.

My little bear design pops up in the most unlikely places.
These girls were very brave, I'm sure their parents will be extremely proud of them.

As a mum and grandmother (Nanny), there is nothing more gorgeous than getting a photo of your son, and grandson playing with a home made item.
It certainly made me smile.
I made this quiet book for Abby before she was born, now my little grandson Rowan is playing with it.

I'm not able to watch the program as its an Adelaide show, Ray of Sunshine on Channel 7, hopefully, it will be online so I can watch it, but how exciting.

They have featured my bear design, a huge, massive thanks to Jill Rashleigh who introduced my bear design to the Ambos and Firey's over her way.

Feeling a little lost today, I have a hole in my craft room.
My older machine has gone off to a spa day, and when she comes back the other one will go, so I am working on finishing up some of the things I haven't had time to get around to.
It might be a couple of weeks and with Easter in the middle might be a bit longer.

So lots of testing this years Easter bunnies,
I think I am done for this year.
I will need to come up with something new next year, lol
The fluff is horrendous, gets up my nose, in my eyes and I have to vacuum twice a day and then its still floating around.
