The following few months will see a continuation of SPECIAL GUESTS and ARTISTS IN RESIDENCE. This has been a fantastic opportunity to meet exciting new artists.

Each of these exhibitions will be managed by the artists themselves and is the perfect opportunity to experience the artwork and speak directly with the artist who created it!

BEECHWORTH CONTEMPORARY is excited to announce BARBARA PRITCHARD will be taking over the gallery for the month of OCTOBER.

Based in the Upper Murray, just over an hour from Albury, Barbara works from her home studio. Here she creates works of various mediums all reflecting the stunning natural bushscape she has lived in most of her life.
A regular exhibitor with Beechworth Contemporary, Barbara has also had exhibitions with Benalla Regional Art Gallery and in Canberra with Aarwun Gallery. Painting, Drawing and mixed media works often using natural materials including walnut ink and charcoal all procured from her own property.

Barbara's work speaks of the land it is created on, the personal stories of surviving bush fires and drought.

Do not miss the opportunity to experience and purchase the work by this talented and experienced regional artist. As a board member of Murray Arts, Barbara is a strong advocate for creative regional connectivity and has been instrumental in leading art workshops and creative opportunities for others.

Beechworth Contemporary Art Space is an established independent commercial gallery. Located in the Main Street of the heritage village Beechworth in the north east of Victoria. Half an hour from Albury Wodonga. One hour from Bright.

For the months SEPTEMBER OCTOBER NOVEMBER 2026 the gallery is now accepting proposals from emerging and professional artists and crafts peoples.

RETURN TO LANDSCAPE
Recent paintings by ALEISHA FINN officially opens to the public this afternoon, Sunday at 5pm.

These works have all been completed by the artist since moving back to the family home near Yackandandah after a number of years in the busy centre of Melbourne city. These paintings act as a mirror into Aleishas present world. The narratives and symbolism depicted I suggest, represent a nostalgic return to the landscape of her youth, of her formative years living with her brother and parents on their farm.

A stunning exhibition not to be missed!
Free entry and all work is for sale. Open from Monday 3 August 10am - 5pm until Monday 31 August.
