🌾 What is Ag-Ed and why is it such a valuable day for our local students?

We caught up with Kate Bandrowski, Head of Agriculture at Beaudesert State High School, and Sophie Ward, Beaudesert State High School student and Beaudesert Showgirl Runner Up, to chat about Beaudesert Show Ag-Ed 2026.

Held on Thursday 3 September, Ag-Ed gives students the chance to get out of the classroom and learn about agriculture through interactive, hands-on sessions with primary producers and industry representatives. 🐄🌱🐓

It’s a real “classroom without walls”, helping young people understand where their food and fibre come from, the paddock to product journey and the important role agriculture plays in our everyday lives.

🛻 Country Utes Take Centre Stage!

There’s nothing quite like a well-loved country ute and the Beaudesert Show Beaut Ute Competition is the place to see them! 🌾🏆

From immaculate street utes and classic utes to hardworking 4x4s, work utes and B&S utes, there’ll be plenty of pride and personality on display.

Come and check out the entries on Saturday 5 September, then head to the Main Ring for the:

🛻 Main classes: $5 per vehicle per class
🏆 Bonus classes: $2 per class

Entering Fine Arts this year? 🎨
Please make sure your artwork is prepared correctly for hanging. All paintings must be framed or block mounted and ready to hang using the required D Ring hanging system. Screw eyes and sawtooth hangers will not be accepted.
