I’m really excited to share our new Outback Pro “chade” box — yes, we’ve kept the charming misspelling because it somehow fits! I designed this box for artists who want pro build quality without the bulk: handcrafted from composite timber in Queensland, it’s lightweight (1.55 kg) but robust, with a generous mixing area (40 x 25 cm) and two foldaway side trays to hold brushes, paints and my trusty dipper. When open it stretches to 87 cm and packs away neatly when folded.

For a limited time the complete set comes with a free 48 cm easel bar (valued at $60) that slips onto a tripod camera mount — perfect for holding canvases or panels securely while you work. Introductory price for the set is $395.00 (shipping extra).

If you paint outdoors or teach workshops, this box gives you room to mix, organise and move freely — exactly what I look for on location. Want one or curious to see more photos and ordering details? Head over to the Sales & Gallery section on my site or ask me here — I’m happy to chat about how I use mine in workshops and retreats around Moreton Bay.
