VALE MARGARET LANCASTER

CPP mourns the passing Margaret Lancaster wife of the late Bill Lancaster ✝, mother to Keith Lancaster, Anne Chatwin, and Carolyn (CJ) Burnett, and beloved Gram and Great Gram to her many grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Margaret was an avid supporter of CPP since Bill's arrival to the group, gracing the stage only once as an emergency understudy cameo (as a drunkard)! She maintained an extensive collection of photos, programs, and cast gifts from many years of CPP productions, and was always found in the audience supporting her family.

The celebration of her life will be held on Thursday 3rd September 2pm at Lilydale Baptist Church. As Margaret's favourite colour was yellow, the family would love it if attendees could wear a splash of yellow on the day.

We are excited to announce our production of Alice in Wonderland Jr., coming to the stage in July 2027.🌹

A whimsical and magical musical filled with colourful characters and big, joyful songs. Alice in Wonderland Jr bursts with playful chaos, larger‑than‑life moments, and bright personalities. From the ever‑tardy White Rabbit to the mischievous Cheshire Cat, the wacky Mad Hatter and the delightfully dramatic Queen of Hearts. Fall down the rabbit hole with Alice as she navigates the curious, imaginative world of Wonderland. TECH WORKSHOP SUCCESS 🎛️ ➰

A wonderful day of tech training for the CPP team, with a massive thank you to Josh for generously sharing his expertise throughout the session, and to committee member Andrew for both his technical knowledge and for organising the whole day. The group covered a huge amount of practical skills: hanging lights safely and efficiently, learning to operate a follow spot, beginning lighting programming on the desk, wrapping cables correctly, and plenty of other hands‑on tasks that will make a real difference for future productions!

It was a fantastic opportunity for newer techs to learn, for experienced techs to refine their skills, and for everyone to work together. A genuinely wonderful day of teamwork, knowledge‑sharing, building confidence, and of course, fun!
