This mornings textured art workshop was just beautiful. We spent time exploring, playing, and laughing our way through the process. Stunning weather, the sea breeze, freshly baked goodies, and the most wonderful company. Feeling proud of my attendees who walked away with some really stunning pieces 🎨

Did you know that it's ok to go completely rogue in my classes? In fact, I love it because that's what creativity is all about 🫶 Last week I had the pleasure of joining the beautiful Shiloh from Happy Hub Collective for one of her mug making courses and I was beside myself with excitement as I've been needing a new work mug forever. Do you think I left with a mug? Ha, nope! At the beginning of the lesson, we set our intentions for ourselves. What was it that I was looking for to fill my cup from that lesson? I wrote down "breathe & let go" ~ I was initially referring to the stresses and worries I carry outside of the studio yet as the class progressed and my "mug" started resembling a vase and then a fish bowl I glanced over at my intention and took it on board. I exhaled and let my mug idea go. After that, the process just flowed and was so incredibly relaxing. Shiloh was incredible and reassuring us along the way that her workshop was all about filling our cups and honouring our self care before creating any award winning masterpieces. So, with all that said, it just so turns out that I needed a honey pot and spoon in my life after all 🍯 I mean honestly though, it was so relaxing and enjoyable I would've been happy with a paper weight! Moral of the story, go rogue, push yourself to let go and just enjoy the process whenever you are creating as that is where the magic lives 🫶✨️ Also go check out Shilohs page, she's an incredible artist who is doing amazing things for the community.

It's no secret, I adore textured art, in any form! Did you know that the skills required to create our stunning canvas pieces are easily transferable! Your imagination is the only limit ✨️🎂 It doesn't matter what I'm creating, as long as I'm creating! Should we do a cookie cake decorating class?
