A reminder that this Wed June 17th at choir, we are having our DRESS REHEARSAL for the 'I’m a Believer' video project!
We will be filming our performance as a Test run to get all the lighting, sound, standing/seating arrangements and harmonies correct prior to filming our final version on Wednesday July 15th! 🎬

If you can please Wear your Choir T-Shirts this Wednesday, and it was decided we'll wear Blue Bottoms if possible 👖 - that could be blue denim, or a skirt or pants in whatever shade of blue you like.

This video attached is our choreography for during the song's Instrumental. This video has been flipped, so just mirror what you see here. We’ll always start each action from the right side or using the right hand first.

Hi WOV Bayswater Choir,

The 2026 With One Voice video project is underway, and this year the song is: 'I’m a Believer' by The Monkees/Smashmouth/Neil Diamond.
With One Voice choirs around the country will be recording a video of themselves performing this song using the same backing track, and head office will be editing all the videos together to make an amazing video of us all singing together!

This link includes Lyrics, Chords, Projector Files, Score, Recordings, a Backing Track to sing along to, plus learning tracks for the Top, Middle and Lower harmonies in the chorus!

Please Note: There are a few small lyric changes in the song (eg: “Then I saw YOUR face”, I” couldn’t leave YA if I tried”).

Our video submissions are due Friday 17 July, so we have plenty of time. We will record our video at a rehearsal probably early July, but will confirm the date for you closer to the time.

Hello to our wonderful With One Voice Bayswater community,

We are performing a gig this Sunday for the Sing-a-Long-a-Thon and we would love for you to come and support us – or if you’re a member of our choir, let us know if you’d like to perform with us!

We will be at the lovely Heathmont Farmers Market – located at Great Ryrie Primary School, 51A Great Ryrie St, Heathmont

When: This Sunday the 22nd of March
We will be singing from around 9.30am-12.00pm/12.30pm (with breaks throughout of course)

What is the Sing-a-Long-a-Thon? Throughout the month of March each of the 26 With One Voice Australia choirs around the country will perform a bunch of well-known, sing-a-long songs somewhere in a public space or at a public event. The aim is to raise awareness and funds, as well as promoting joy, connection and wellbeing by inviting the public to sing along with us!

I was so very proud of our group at dear Neil’s funeral today. It is the first time these friends have sung at a funeral and they were brought into the fold in the most lovely gentle way possible. Our dear Neil was sent off in great style!

It is with much sadness that we announce the passing of dear Neil Gardner, one of our singers. He absolutely adored choir and we have some beautiful videos with him in the choir that will be played at his upcoming funeral - that we will sing along with ('Amazing'). We'll sing other songs too: Amazing Grace, Hallelujah, I would walk 500 miles, Amazing, Farewell Ye Friends.

Neil had been a musician before his ABI and found deep peace and joy in singing with us each week.
We welcome any of the WOV choir family to come and sing with us at Neil's funeral. The more singers, the better.
