Doors open at 6pm so come in and have some dinner and drinks before the singing kicks off at 7pm!

We have absolutely loved seeing so many new faces every week, and we’d love for you and your little ones to join the fun.

Our Early Childhood Music Classes are the perfect way to spark your child's creativity through sounds, rhythms, and play in a warm, welcoming environment. Whether you have a tiny newborn or an active preschooler, we have a spot just for you!

The Bathurst Musical Theatre Choir from the Mitchell Conservatorium is taking over Little Alberts for an electrifying night dedicated to the high-octane world of Rock Musicals.
From the rebellious anthems of Rent and Rocky Horror to the stadium-sized hits of We Will Rock You, we’re bringing you the grit, the soul, and the power of the stage’s greatest hits. Expect the full force of the choir plus powerhouse performances from our featured soloists!

Australia’s premier big band festival is back THIS WEEKEND, and the energy is already electric! Whether you’re a die-hard jazz cat or just looking for a fabulous weekend out, Big Band Blast is the place to be from May 15–17.

Founded by the legendary John Morrison and co-directed by the incredible Jacki Cooper, this isn't just a festival—it’s a massive celebration of music, community, and world-class talent right here at the BMEC.

FRIDAY NIGHT KICKOFF: Get things started with the CONnection Big Band and Mosaic Jazz Collective (plus special guests Jacki Cooper & Andrew Robertson!).

SATURDAY GALA: After a day of pro workshops, we’re capping the night with the powerhouse Sydney Conservatorium Jazz Orchestra directed by David Theak. It’s going to be massive!

SUNDAY GRAND FINALE: From 11am–1pm, witness a "mini-festival" with school bands rotating across four stages every 20 minutes. The energy is unmatched!

All Aboard 🚂 🎶

The Steam Social is here! will be held on Saturday 6 June, 6pm at the Bathurst Rail Museum.
To celebrate the visit by a Transport Heritage NSW steam locomotive and 150 years since the railway arrived in Bathurst, the Bathurst Rail Museum is inviting the community to dance the night away with the Mitchell Conservatorium's CONnections Big Band at the Steam Social.

Cocktail refreshments will be available and Reckless Brewing Co. behind the bar.

Australia’s premier big band festival is back! Founded by legendary drummer John Morrison and co-directed by the incredible Jazz Vocalist Jacki Cooper , Big Band Blast is a vibrant weekend created by musicians, for musicians.
From May 15–17, we are taking over the Bathurst Memorial Entertainment Centre (BMEC) for three days of world-class jazz, workshops, and high-energy performances.

📅 THE LINEUP
-Friday, May 15: Kickoff concert featuring Mitchell Conservatoriums 'CONnection Big Band' and 'Mosaic Jazz Collective' (with special guests Jacki Cooper & Andrew Robertson).

-Saturday, May 16: A day of workshops and performance sessions with pro clinicians for the schools, capped off by a massive Gala Concert featuring the Sydney Conservatorium Jazz Orchestra directed by David Theak!

Hello to all of our usual PUBlic Choir crowd!

We have unfortunately had to cancel this months PUBlic Choir due to injury! 🙃

The is still serving delicious food and drinks in their main resturant area so feel free to book a table there anyway 😉

We will all be back on deck next month- 2nd of June. 🎤🎶
