Early Childhood Music Update!

We know the budget is tighter than ever these days, and keeping little ones entertained without breaking the bank can be a real challenge. That’s why we’re lowering our early childhood class prices to make them as accessible as possible for young parents:

- 1st child: $10
-2nd child: $5
-3rd child (and beyond!) Free!

Bring the whole crew along for a fun, engaging session without worrying about the cost.
We can’t wait to see you and your little ones in class!

If anyone has pre-purchased classes for this term with our loyalty card, don't worry! We have you covered, have a chat with the ladies in the office next time you come in for the class! 🎶😁

Last Wednesday, our CONnections Big Band and Palm Court Orchestra decided to take the music across the road for an impromptu open rehearsal with our awesome neighbours at .bx 🎶

The performance was a fantastic way to celebrate the end of a busy term, but also a bittersweet opportunity to say farewell to Brendon McLeod—CONnections’ 1st Trombone player and Mitchell Conservatorium Brass teacher.

With great food, cold drinks, and incredible music from both groups, a wonderful time was had by all! 🎺✨

A huge thank you to everyone who joined us, and best of luck to Brendon on his next chapter!

What a fantastic final week at the Conservatorium! Taking a look back at last weekend, our Adult Beginner Concert Band, ReCONnect (led by Carolyn Miller), joined forces with The Chifley Band (led by Wendy Jenkins) for a wonderful, relaxed afternoon performance in the RSL Auditorium.

It was truly special to see just how far our beginner band has come after just one year of learning! Thank you to the wonderful audience who came out to support our amazing musicians.

Both of these bands were created to offer a supportive, fun environment for anyone looking to learn an instrument in their later years—whether you’ve never played before, want to try something new, or are picking up a past passion after years away.

Want to join us? Both bands are always welcoming new members!

🎷 ReCONnect meets Tuesdays at 1:00 PM at the Mitchell Conservatorium.
