Good news. The d'AIRY is up and running and getting ready for 2023. Our first session will be a life drawing class, led by Tim Miller, on Saturday 11th Feb, 1-4pm. Well, we are not quite post-COVID, but life is taking on a new normal. So perhaps it is a good time to pick up your charcoal and come along to a non-tutored life drawing session at the d'AIRY, this Saturday 28th May 1-4pm. Cost $35. The d'AIRY CReATivE is planning events for 2021.

Non-tutored life drawing will go ahead on the 1st and 3rd Saturday of each month 1:30 - 4:30. Cost $30. Bookings essential.

Tim Miller will be running a Landscape in Oils workshop on Sat 27th and Sunday 28th March 2021.

Painting en plein aire in Oils.

The processes of painting in oils beginning with drawing, composition, a value study and then colour studies.

The workshop will incorporate demonstrations and practical sessions.

The course is geared to the individual and is suitable for all levels.
When: Weekend of March 27th and 28th
Where: Tim Miller's Rockley Studio, 20 Long Street Rockley NSW

In November the focus will be on life drawing. There will be two non-tutored life drawing session on the first and third Saturday of the month.

For those who would like to develop their life drawing practice further, the d'AIRY will be offering two one day workshops covering the Foundations of Life Drawing:

The next event at the d'AIRY will be a two day workshop:

Colour Light and Seeing – Theory for Artists: an introduction to colour via theory, demonstrations and practical application. The workshop will cover; properties of colour, forms of colour, colour systems, colour mixing, colour harmonies, colour contrasts, colour constancy and seeing colour.

This course will be beneficial for people interested in painting, photography, computer imaging design and lighting.

Medium: watercolour, gouache, or pastel. A material list will be provided.

Sat 15th and Sun 16th Aug, 10 – 4pm
Venue: d’AIRY CReATivE
Cost: $300
max 10 students
