I designed these fun bracelets myself and sewed them by hand. And the gesture drawings are based on my own photographs of australian wildlife - can you tell which animals are in them?

I'm getting back into photography now that the weather is warming up early. Many trees are still bare but the flowers are blooming and the birds are fluttering around - I suspect preparing their nests for spring!

It was hard to catch the birds in good light, but these photos will still be great inspiration for my art and craft.

Everything I’ve made so far this year! What do you think - is it enough to start planning for a market stall? I think so!

Included in this photo are:
- all my vintage stamp artworks (framed, box, earrings, wall hangings, bookmarks)
- gesture drawings (just did those this week - look out for a future post about them!)
- duck lino prints (one framed)
- my first cyanotype prints! More to come

- the limited edition mini stamp books made using ink stamps from the 1950s

I did the final prints of my second lino carving for this bird today. It was a lot harder than I remembered, but i think part of the problem was I was using ink that had sat on the shelf for too long between uses. I learned a lot though, especially about how to carve better next time.

I really wanted the handmade paper I bought off Augreenie to work out but only one of those prints turned out ok, because the paper wasn’t smooth enough. I might experiment with making my own paper at some point, or I might buy more lol.

That’s it for this image - I will move on to another photo of mine for a new carving, but I haven’t chosen which one yet.
