“SPLat Art Therapy". ART FOR ENJOYMENT AND RELAXATION.

ART THERAPY PLUS ART FOR ENJOYMENT. These workshops are suitable for artists and non-artists alike. The aim is to utilise techniques used in Art Therapy to provide an enjoyable, non-threatening expressive art experience. Participants will be led through a series of enjoyable art exercises which will promote mindfulness and relaxation. Various art techniques will be used, including, drawing, painti

ng,and collage. These workshops will be useful for developing creativity, relaxation, self awareness, problem solving skills and more. NO ARTISTIC TALENT REQUIRED! Art Therapy focuses on the process, not the product. People who say "I can't do art" will be able to participate and enjoy the course alongside more confident artists. Art Therapy involves dealing with the unconscious thoughts and feelings, buried deep beneath the surface. The art involved is simply a way of accessing these thoughts. This can lead to a deeper understanding of our actions and reactions in everyday life. Sessions run for different lengths of time, depending on the needs of each group or individual.

💜International Drop a Rock Day is July 3rd! 💜

It is a world wide rock drop day where a universal message is chosen for all to paint & spread an uplifting message. This year the theme is the word is LOVE.

If you would like to join, please paint a rock (or many!) with the word LOVE & drop them on July 3rd along with kindness rock artists all around the world!

I’m happy to say that I’m presenting an art exhibition of the works created by the participants in my U3A class!
One of my goals for this year was to have an exhibition… I didn’t know that it was going to be this . I’m so happy and excited to share not only my art but also the art of those I’ve been encouraging throughout the year . 😍🎨👩‍🎨
