HOUSE POINTS UPDATE! 🖤💛

Our first round of house points has been tallied, and Ascend has taken an early lead! 💙

There have been plenty of opportunities for our dancers to earn points over the last week, including:

⭐ All ballet examination candidates receiving 20 points for their house.

⭐ Winning our Post-It and Power Jump challenges.

⭐ Applying corrections and showing improvement in class.

⭐ Showing initiative and helping pack up without being asked.

⭐ Our Friday Mini class each earning 5 points this morning for their excellent focus and effort!

⭐ A huge 100 bonus points for Ascend thanks to Matilda K’s PERFECT 100% in her Project Élevé Tap Examination!

COMING UP NEXT WEEK! 🎃👻

With Halloween Week just around the corner, we’ll be awarding 100 HOUSE POINTS for the best Halloween costumes!

Which house will take the lead next? 👀

A huge congratulations to our Intermediate Tap dancers on their outstanding examination results! 🖤💛

Some incredibly strong results across the board, including three dancers achieving over 97%, with one receiving a perfect 100%!

I’m so proud of the standard these dancers demonstrated and the progress each of them has made throughout the year.

A special thank you to our wonderful Miss Joirdyn for continuing to challenge, encourage and bring out the best in them.

Tap is a style I have so much love for, and with so many competing styles in dance, it’s often one of the first to go. I genuinely hope these dancers never give it up.

Congratulations again, everyone. You’ve earned these results!

Congratulations to all of our dancers who completed their Ballet Examinations today! 🩰💛🤍

I am incredibly proud of every single dancer who walked into the examination room today and gave it their best.

For some, this was their very first ballet examination, while others were building on everything they have worked towards over the past year.

Ballet requires patience, discipline, consistency and a willingness to keep working at things that don’t always come easily. Today was an opportunity for our dancers to demonstrate just how far they’ve come.

Regardless of the results, I hope every dancer walks away feeling proud of themselves. It takes courage to step into an examination room, and that alone deserves recognition.

A big thank you to our families for supporting your dancers throughout their preparation and for making today run so smoothly.

Well done Phoenix Dancers! 🥹👏👏👏

One of my favourite parts of teaching is looking back at where a dancer started and seeing just how much they’ve grown, not only in their dancing, but in themselves!

Thank you, Amanda, for trusting Phoenix Dance Team to be part of your daughter’s journey. 🖤💛

This is Phoenix.

Congratulations Octavia! 💎🏆

Today Octavia competed at Time to Shine, where all styles go up against each other within their age and experience division. Each routine receives an award based on its score, with Double Diamond awarded for scores between 87–93.

We are so proud of Octavia, who came away with:

💎💎 Double Diamond in Lyrical
💎💎 Double Diamond in Contemporary
💎💎 Double Diamond in Hip Hop
💎 Diamond in Jazz
🏆 2nd Highest Scoring Routine

Four routines across four styles, with these results amongst some very strong competition. A massive achievement!

Octavia, you’re such a talented & versatile dancer, and today was a beautiful reminder of what you’re capable of. We love watching you take the stage and look forward to seeing you continue to grow.

Congratulations on a fantastic comp. So proud of you! 💛🖤
