MIRANDA DONALD - Producer

📸 Miranda has been involved in theatre, in some form, for many, many years. A Performing Arts Degree, running theatre companies, teaching drama, performing, writing and directing keep her busy and keep her love of live theatre alive. When not producing theatre Miranda is known to play pickleball, enjoy time with family and friends and volunteer within the Buninyong community. Miranda is looking forward to Cosi and a new theatre dynamic of a Rehearsed Read - Enjoy!

ADAM TURNBULL - Henry

📸 Adam graduated from the University of Ballarat (Performing Arts) in 1993. Shortly after, he secured guest roles in ‘A Country Practice’ ‘Janus’ and ‘Frontline’ to name a few. Adam has directed and produced shows for the Melbourne International Comedy Festival & Melbourne Fringe Festivals.
Adam has many Stage Credits and headed to Far North Queensland, performing in ‘A Midsummer Night’s Dream’ for Theatre Up North. He continued to appear on TV with guest roles in shows such as ‘Comedy Inc’, ‘Sensing Murder‘,’Neighbours’ and was a semi-regular on ABC3’s Series ‘Prank Patrol’.
Adam has also worked as an Acting Coach for many companies across Melbourne and the United States. In 2011 he formed his own Acting School – ATA Acting Studio.
Adam worked with local Ballarat companies Onyx Players & Tilly Dog Productions for several years, starring in many classic fairytales and had the regular role of ‘Alan’ in the Comedy Series ‘Monkey Man’, produced by Bamyasi Media.
Adam co-produced & played the role of ‘Chess’ in Overlook’s Inaugural Production of ‘I SEE YOU’ and most recently, filmed the lead role in a Pilot for a new Comedy Series. He is very excited for audiences to experience the unique characters of COSI.

OSCAR WILSON - Lewis

📸 Oscar has had the pleasure of working in many aspects of theatre, beginning as a ‘Bellboy’ in BLOC Music Theatre’s 2013 production of Anything Goes. Outside of his many on-stage credits since then, he has experience as a Director (The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee, BLOC Music Theatre), Musical Director/Conductor (Urinetown, Altona City Theatre; High School Musical, BLOC Music Theatre) and Choral Director (Newies, School of Rock, St Patrick’s College).
Oscar made his non-musical theatre stage debut in 2024, playing ‘Lucentio’ in the Bard in Buninyong’s The Taming of the Shrew; while he is grateful to have returned to musical theatre this year in BLOC Music Theatre’s Frozen as ‘Kristoff’, he is also equally thrilled to have been given the opportunity to further develop his abilities as a dramatic actor in Cosi.

INEZ DEMIRCEVIREN - Julie

📸 Inez comes from a background of Dance. She has been dancing for 13 years and played ‘Arabian Coffee’ in ‘The Nutcracker’ in 2022 and the ‘Tinman’ in ‘The Wizard of Oz’ in 2023 – both at Dancemakers. Inez started in theatre at Damascus College, where she played ‘Miss Scarlett’ in ‘Clue’ and the ‘Enchantress’ in ‘The Brothers Grimm Spectaculathon’ in 2024.
Inez also has worked in Film & Television. She was the ‘Hero’ University Student in a Federation University TVC and a Football Player in the ‘AFL Nines’ TVC. Inez also played a ‘Waitress’ in the Upcoming Feature Film, ‘Olivia’.

STEWART GREEDY - Narrator

📸 Stewart moved to Ballarat in 1996 to start his “day-job” as a veterinarian at the Ballarat Veterinary Practice. He made his Ballarat theatre stage debut in Lyric’s production of ‘Jesus Christ Superstar’ that year playing the role of Caiaphas. Since then, he has been involved in over 30 productions as actor, keyboardist, choral director and music director. (He hasn’t given up his day job).

MITCHELL HARDMAN - Doug

📸 Mitch always felt like he definitely had a thing to entertain, whether it’s in acting classes or just simply making the people around him smile. When he was a child he would he would film many home movies with his best mates. During the lockdowns, Mitch rediscovered his passion for acting. In 2021 he started Scene Study Classes with ATA Acting Studio, where he has trained for the last 6 years. Mitch would deepen he’s love for acting and entertainment and perform several ATA Showcases continuing to hone his craft. Mitch enjoys the challenge of playing deep, engaging characters and also the freedom and creativity when playing comedic roles. When Mitch is not playing football, listening to or thinking of his own music or going to the gym, he is always trying to stay creative. Mitch, in his own honest words - is a private, reserved, introverted, socially awkward neurodivergent person who values respect, kindness and honesty and always has time to talk to and do social things with people who he cares for the most. COSI will be Mitch’s first professional acting role.

SIMON BUCKLE - Roy

📸 Simon has been drawn to Acting and Music from a very young age and after many performances in High School and local Geelong theatre group productions, he was accepted into the third intake of the BUC Performing Arts stream in 1990. This was a very creative period, and Simon appeared in many university productions over the following few years. After moving to the Gold Coast, Simon mixed acting with performing in a local band writing original songs and covering the music of the day. After returning to Victoria, Simon continued to be creative, forming a musical duo. After starting a family, Simon returned to acting, appearing in “See you on Thursdays” for the Onyx Players in Ballarat in 2018, and "I see you" with Overlook Productions in 2024.

MADDISON SHARP - Lucy

📸 Maddison has always loved the positive effects that entertainment projects can have on their audiences. She has joyfully partaken in acting classes at the ATA Acting Studio over the last seven years. Whether it is the Scene Study classes or Screen workshops, Maddison always makes sure to enjoy every moment.
She has also performed in a number of ATA Showcases throughout the years. Maddison has acted in short films such as ‘Anna’, which was filmed with Melbourne University and also appeared in ‘Magnify’ , a student film project with RMIT University. She completed a Presenting program for Film and Television with Brave Studios in 2022. As well as acting, she also holds a love for creative writing. Maddison looks forward to bringing more positive opportunities into her orbit, with like-minded people, in the expansive field of entertainment.

TIM HARRIS - Justin

📸 From historical re-enactments and pantomimes on the local theme park circuit
through to a string of Shakespeare’s in the Buninyong botanic gardens to being
pulled over by the police for not wearing his seatbelt, or even just putting the bins
out, Tim has a love for performance. This year Tim has already led a populist revolt
in Aristophanes’ The Birds, fended off a (very handsome) evil queen in Snow White,
eaten his fair share of Norman Lindsay’s Magic Pudding, as well as performing
staged readings of the works of Chekhov, Moliere, and Oscar Wilde. When not
performing Tim co-ordinates a team of actors delivering theatre-in-education
programs at Ballarat Community Health.

📸 Linda Borner is a dynamic stage and screen actor with over 30 years of performance experience across theatre, festivals, voice-over, dance, and physical performance. Her recent credits include Silver Stars of Freedom 2026, The Va**na Monologues 2025, This Is The Way The World Ends 2025, I See You 2024, Tchaikovsky’s Children’s Album Narration 2023.
Linda is a passionate supporter of local arts and thrives on exploring the human condition through performance and creative collaborations. She is delighted to be part of this production.
