🐉 WHAT A WEEKEND OF DRAGONS AT KRYAL CASTLE! 🐉

A huge thank you to everyone who joined us for an incredible weekend of dragons, adventure and medieval magic!

We’d especially like to thank our event partners at Wyrd Realms, who helped take the weekend to another level. They brought along nearly a dozen dragons of all shapes and sizes, creating an incredible Dragon Stable where guests could get up close and meet these magnificent creatures.

We’re incredibly grateful for the time, effort and passion the Wyrd Realms team put into making the weekend such a success.

This is exactly what we love about working with our wider medieval and fantasy community — passionate people and organisations coming together, sharing what they do best and creating bigger, better and more memorable experiences for everyone.

And this is only the beginning… ⚔️🐲

Meet the Knights of the Australian Jousting Championship – Lady Tamsen Horsnell

For Lady Tamsen Horsnell, the dream of becoming a knight began as a child watching jousts at her local medieval fair. Today, that dream has become reality as she prepares to compete against Australia's finest in the 2026 Australian Jousting Championship.

Inspired by her grandfather's crest, Lady Tamsen bears the heraldry of an elephant and castle—a symbol of steadfast strength and resilience. She first entered the world of jousting as a groom for Sir Andrew McKinnon, before progressing to become squire to Sir Rodney Deaman, learning the skills, discipline, and horsemanship required to earn her place on the tournament field.

Her personal motto, "Fortitudo Timorem Vincit"—Courage conquers fear—embodies her belief that with determination and bravery, even childhood dreams can become reality.
