The Kings Birthday long weekend has been most excellent 👏🏽 we’ve honored our very own 👑 Keith Ryall with his namesake Jousting Tournament hosted every year. 6 knights have competed and our Sir Phillip has been announced as Victor ⚔️
Fire pits out, rains held off (mostly), bit of everything you could want from a medieval adventure park 😉

It has been a record breaking weekend for the 2026 edition of Legends of Steel 🛡️⚔️🪓
Seeing over 90 Buhurt competitors coming from across multiple states, it has been a pleasure to host these teams.
Weather has been most excellent, crowds have been ELECTRIC ⚡️

⚔️ The wait is over… and trust us, it’s been worth it.

We’ve been blown away by the excitement surrounding this weekend’s Legends of Steel tournament, and we truly appreciate everyone’s patience while final program details were locked in behind the scenes. With over 100 competitors descending on Kryal Castle, this is shaping up to be one of the biggest combat weekends we’ve ever hosted.

Expect full-contact steel combat, fighter parades, weapon showcases, knights jousting, live action across the Main Arena all weekend… and of course, the chaos of the Aftermath Feast on Saturday night. 🍖🔥

Whether you’re coming for the battles, the atmosphere, the armour, or just to witness grown adults willingly getting hit with steel for sport — Legends of Steel weekend is going to be EPIC.
