Again playing with the Garden Silhouette Hot Foil Die. This time with gold foil. The first card is created with the way the die was intended. You are then left with the reverse as scrap foil. But Stampin’ U! has thought of everything. With the Reverse Hot Foil Die, you can use the left over foil to create another card - card 2.

Also I used the Butterfly Flight Hot Foil Dies & Masks to decorate the cards.

Last weekend we celebrated my cousin, Gayle’s 70th birthday. I wanted to create something special that she could keep as a memory of this milestone.

We gave Gayle a 70th Birthday Necklace, 7 silver rings and a blue stone. So that was my starting point for this card - Hydrangea Hue (blue) and silver.
The Hot Foiling System was perfect for this project, and I used the Sweetly Sentimental Bundle and the Echoes of Detail Bundle. With the combine of paper, stamps, ink, ribbon and silver hot foil I created an envelope, a tri-fold card and gift wrap for the boxed jewel.

OK I’m not a football fanatic, in fact I can take it or leave it. But with the excitement of the NFL game at the MCG….

Alan asked, ‘who should we barrack for in the NFL game today’.
‘The 49ers!’ I replied. ‘No question - red & black…, and gold!’

OK it’s Red, Gold, Black & White.

Football colours - red & black = Essendon Football Club (AFL) - Alan’s team
Classy Colours - black & gold (colour theme for our 60 & 70th birthday’s)
Classic Colours- black & white (colour theme for Bella’s school formal last night)
Stampin’Up! Colours - Cherry Cobbler, Gold, Basic Black and Basic White.

And I was right! The San Francisco 49ers won 27 to 7 to the LA Rams.

(Oh and my memories of LA when I visited in 1993, attacked & bashed and threatened with a knife, left with broken nose & cheeks…. Yeah, happy LA was beaten 🤣)
