Make chopsticks, eat sushi

A half day experience where participants make their own handmade chopsticks with woodworker Vipun Chanchlani at the Centre for Rare Arts & Forgotten Trades followed by lunch at Kambei.

🥢Cost $250 per person includes: Kittelty’s morning tea and Kambei lunch, plus all materials, tools and instruction.

All participants make and take home their own bespoke handcrafted chop sticks.

WOW!

Did anyone else witness the incredible vibe in our city last night?

Did you walk around and see so many venues filled with people having the most wonderful time?

Or were you lucky enough to score a seat at one of the venues?

Last night made us proud; it was a fabulous showcase of our restaurants, cafes, and even some retail stores that were open too.

Recently, so many messages have been about the seriousness of how hospitality is going. Last night was an opportunity to embrace the chaos and lean into a vibrant, fun city, welcoming locals and visitors into the venues.

We truly hope venue operators and their teams had a wonderfully busy night and are resting today.

Well done Ballarat, what a showcase of our fabulous culinary offerings. ♥️

Did you know the Red Lion Hotel, Western Hotel and The Lake View Hotel all have a courtesy bus going to and from White Night tonight?

The courtesy bus will be running to and from the event every half hour from 6pm - 12am. No bookings required for the bus.
The kitchen will remain open until 12am with a modified menu if you feel like a late night bite
