We would like to say an enormous THANK YOU to all those who attended, helped and donated to our Australia Day Bushfire Fundraiser! To say we're overwhelmed is an understatement. The exciting total we raised is at the bottom of the post but first, some very important thank you call outs... Huge thanks to all of the following: Renee - aka Balloongirl Mandy and Naomi for cookies Our awesome local CFA trucks - Gordon, Millbrook and Mt Egerton Mens Shed Ballan for fantastic sausage cooking Simons Disco Dukebox Rob at Midvale Quality Meats Tania who kept every child captivated with crafts and colouring for HOURS Lean Conway and Oscar the parrot for great singalong Aussie tunes Rock and Co for singing us into the evening Brooke and Josh for running the Pool Knockout Our raffle prizes were provided by: Crossroads Trading The Chapel Store - Gordon Heaven & Earth Hair & Body D & M Traders Ballan Clare Bear Sweets Salon De Provence Gordon Hotel We also had great silent auction prizes donated by Vaughan Hause and Sue and Grant. A final thanks to our wonderful staff who also donated their time to the cause. We feel sure we've possibly missed thanking someone so please let us know so the post can be corrected if we can. We were able to raise an incredible $2,506.00 on the day which we feel is fantastic for our small community, thank you all again! This amount will be divided between our three local CFA brigades - Gordon, Millbrook and Mt Egerton. We look forward to hearing how these funds can further help our much loved CFA brigades.
