Yay our junior classes are able to resume from Monday 2nd November. A revised timetable will be sent out to families this week for a short term to end the year.

Still no road map out of covid resitrictions for regional dance schools (as we operate under indoor sports and recreation). I hope everyone is keeping well and enjoying dance in other forms.

This week is likely to be our last dance classes for the term, as the 6 week lockdown begins as of 11.59 on Wednesday. It would be great to see you all at class (all students over 12 yrs need to wear masks) we completely understand if you would prefer to keep your child home and would appreciate a text to notify us. Keep safe, from the team at D2TB.

Below are the current details for next weeks classes. Although the restrictions have been tightened again in VICTORIA I have checked and this does not effect the sport and recreation easing. It will go ahead as planned for Monday.

We are counting down to finally starting back dancing! Please take note of the following information in regards to covid19 regulations.

1. The waiting room is currently closed so students should only arrive at their class time, wait downstairs for their teachers and, when they come into the waiting room, place bags in the lockers.
2. No food is to be consumed in the premises.
3.For all JUNIOR classes wait downstairs on Curtis street and your teacher will meet you on the street and bring you up for class. You will also be brought back down a few minutes before your class finish time.
4. Please ensure parents are prompt at pick up time and do not stand around on the street, where possible stay in you car and observe social distancing.
5. Students will need their own drink bottles
6. Please ensure you child wears dance clothes (strictly no school uniforms)
7. Students will hand sanitise on arrival and departure.

Under government restrictions we wont be reopening until 22nd June at the studio. Zoom workshops will run in a seperate timetable from 8th June. If you dont receive your email with instructions how to register by the end if the week please text 0458040347 to confirm your current email!

IMPORTANT COVID INFORMATION

Victoria will begin to ease restrictions from 11.59pm on Tuesday 12 May. These new restrictions and a renewed State of Emergency will be in place until 11:59pm on Sunday 31 May.

In terms of Sport and Recreation, the following information is relevant for Dancing:
- Indoor sports / physical recreation centres are still prohibited from opening;
- Indoor sport exercise is not allowed, unless it is practiced at home or via online sessions/classes;
- Indoor sports remain prohibited as there is an increase in the risk of transmission while exercising in an enclosed space.

WE hope that further ease or restrictions in coming weeks will allow class to resume shortly. Please be patient as it's important to ensure the safety of the Ballarat community and I encourage you to continue to follow the government restrictions!
