Mayte Youth Theatre “Moving All Youth Towards Entertainment” in Ballarat and surrounding areas.

The group was established in 1999, by Her Majesty's Theatre Ballarat, Victoria, Australia. The group is now run by young people, for young people, to improve their access to and involvement in the Performing Arts through:

-Drama workshops - improvisation, acting, voice etc.
-Play building, creation, writing
-Scripted plays
-Performances
-Theatre Sports
-Improvisation
-Theatre Technology workshop
-Theatre Shows
-Trips and Tours
-Access to Her Majesty's Theatre Board
