Day 3 got a bit more tidying up done in my studio. Then I had to sort a backing for my first ever hand pieced quilt. I got it pinned and on the frame - photos to come.
Then I decided to weave in some scraps rather than put them away in their box. Ms Penelope decided to assist today. If only her & Franklin would come to work with me.

I’m finally having some time off from the shop, and with the state of my home studio (and my brain) it is needed. I have a full A4 page of half started items that I need to tidy up and complete where possible.
Last night I completed crocheting a Tunisian blanket - a whole 5 rows 😳 So I will tie in the ends tonight to finish off something I have been tripping over for the last year.
Today I sewed together this beauty. It’s a Tula pattern using a mix of plains and her fabrics. I cut half of it out a month ago, and there it sat until today. Then to get it quilted before Bub arrives in February. Lots of babies being born at the start of next year, so I’m going to be busy😁

For those of you who haven’t already heard, this amazing man got sick of me buying fabric. So he let me buy a fabric shop instead.
Pickled Pig Quilting has now moved from my home studio and combined with Pickled Pig Patchwork to become your new one fabric & quilting stop.
Located at 143 Victoria Street, Ballarat East.
Closed Monday & Tuesday, open Wednesday to Sunday from 10am.
I look forward to seeing you all when you bring your quilt tops in.
