✨ FAABI 35TH ANNIVERSARY GALA — CELEBRATING 35 YEARS OF UNITY, CULTURE & COMMUNITY 🇵🇭🇦🇺✨
What a truly magnificent evening! The Filipino Australian Association of Ballarat Inc. (FAABI) proudly celebrated 35 remarkable years of friendship, service, culture, and togetherness at the Ballarat & District Trotting Club.
The evening began with the Parade of Colours, together with our past presidents, current committee members and officers, followed by the Australian and Philippine National Anthems, prayer, Acknowledgement of Country, and warm welcome remarks from our FAABI President, Mrs Arlene Brewer.
We were deeply honoured by the presence of our distinguished guest speakers — Hon Consul Sherwin Wenceslao, Hon Juliana Addison MP, Chaplain Norminda Forteza, AFCS, and Dr Allan Terret. Thank you for sharing your time, inspiring words, and support for our Filipino-Australian community.
The celebration came alive with wonderful performances from Dazzler Dancers, RB's Friends in Motion, Pinay Rhythm Movers, Fusion in Motion Group, and Roxx Mixx Duo, together with a beautiful song number by Annie Hamerton. 🎶💃✨

You both truly added sparkle and elegance to an already unforgettable evening!
We would also like to give a very special acknowledgement to Ate Virgie for managing the ticketing from the very beginning. It was one of the most challenging responsibilities of the event, involving unpaid tickets, cancellations, changes, and last-minute additional bookings. Through her patience, dedication, and hard work, everything was successfully managed before the big night. Maraming salamat, Ate Virgie! ❤️
Our heartfelt appreciation also goes to Ate Cora, whose incredible dedication in finding sponsors helped us raise more than $2,000 worth of raffle prizes. Your determination and generosity of spirit contributed greatly to the success and excitement of our celebration. Behind every successful event are countless hours of planning, preparation, sacrifice, teamwork, and people willing to give their time without expecting anything in return. To our FAABI officers, committee members, past presidents, volunteers, performers, sponsors, members, families, friends, and guests — this celebration would not have been possible without each and every one of you.
Thirty-five years is not simply a milestone. It is a legacy. ❤️
