What a weekend at Northern Nats Tropical Meltdown.

From the outside it probably looked like everything went to plan… but the reality was a little different. We had our fair share of challenges behind the scenes, and unfortunately things didn’t go the way we’d hoped. That’s motorsport – it’s never as simple as turning the key and doing a skid.

Even with the setbacks, we still had an amazing weekend. The best part was spending quality time with my beautiful wife Rans and our little girl Zara, making memories together and enjoying everything the event had to offer. At the end of the day, that’s what it’s all about.

A massive thank you to the Longboost family. The support, help, and teamwork throughout the weekend was absolutely second to none. Whether it was lending a hand in the pits, helping with the car, or just being there when things got tough, it never went unnoticed. I’m incredibly grateful to have such an amazing group of people behind us.

To my wife Rans, thank you for always standing by my side, putting in the long hours, and supporting this crazy passion every step of the way. And to Zara, thank you for keeping us smiling all weekend and reminding me what really matters.

I also want to say a huge thank you to all of our sponsors. When we needed parts and tyres at short notice to make this event happen, you stepped up without hesitation. Your support means more than you know, and without businesses backing grassroots motorsport like ours, weekends like this simply wouldn’t be possible. Thank you for believing in XSITED Motorsport.

Everyone sees the smoke… but not what it takes to make it. 💚🖤

People see a few minutes on the burnout pad and think it’s as easy as turning the key and standing on the throttle.

What they don’t see are the countless hours behind the scenes.

The late nights in the shed.
The endless check-overs.
The servicing after every event.
The damaged parts that need replacing.
The repairs, adjustments and improvements.
The constant tuning, testing and preparation to make sure the car is ready to go again.

A burnout car isn’t built on the pad—it’s built in the shed. The few minutes everyone watches are backed by hundreds of hours of hard work, dedication and sacrifice that most people never get to see.

A massive thank you to my beautiful wife for putting up with the long hours in the shed and always supporting this crazy passion. I couldn’t do it without you. ❤️

To my daughter Zara to jump in the car for a lap with me made my heart melt and I do this because I love it but my 2 girls make it so good to enjoy it

Another huge thank you to our Longboost family, along with all our family and friends who jumped in to help over the weekend at Northern Nats. Whether it was lending a hand in the pits, helping with repairs, offering advice or simply being there when we needed it, your support means more than you know.

Longy, Jamie and Kody I wouldn’t have got back out there with out you guys and this weekend wouldn’t have happened! didn’t get the result we were hoping for but got we didn’t give up well you guys never gave up lack of sleep and the help from Matt getting these carbs sorted you guys make the true meaning of burnout family and I’m so grateful!

We might be the ones driving the car, but this is truly a team effort, and we’re incredibly grateful to have such amazing people behind XSITED Motorsport.
