We offer high quality instruction within small class sizes so that students receive the individual attention and nurturing they require to reach their full potential. We are an international school with locations in both the Northern suburbs of Melbourne (Ascot Vale & Flemington) and in Nagoya Japan. The genres we offer at our studio include:
Southern Federation of Dance ballet, jazz and tap syllabus. Hip hop, acro, contemporary, pointe work, cheerleading, singing and private tuition. We offer excellence in dance - In 2019, all students who entered their dance exams passed with Distinctions. In 2020, our popular online programme, created due to Covid-19, has also succeeded tremendous expectations! Our beautiful students improved so much while adapting to a new learning environment. We were overwhelmed by the support and interest our community had in this program as well! Our highly qualified and experienced team are industry lead professionals and offer expert tuition with a focus on outstanding technique. Much consideration has been taken for student and teacher interaction and development. The discipline of dance has many positive and wonderful benefits; it offers skills which can be taken into student’s everyday lives. At Two Shoes we take delight in passing on knowledge and opportunities to the next generation and investing in our future which is looking very bright!! We are committed to your child’s development and their future; we are providing your child with more than JUST dance tuition. Throughout the dancing year, our students enjoy regular stage and performance experience through our end of year productions. Participating in our performance season is not compulsory, though it is highly recommended. It is always a joyous occasion for a dancer to be able to perform for their family and friends. Participating in performances allows students to develop their technique, artistry and performance skills whilst learning new movement vocabulary and building self-confidence. And after all, dance and acro are performing arts! Each year, we also hold multiple social events for our students, including movie nights and disco parties! We feel it’s important for our children to have the opportunity to socialise outside of the classroom setting, forming even stronger bonds with their teachers and peers.
