Council's Free Mulch Giveaway 2026.

Council's Waste and Water teams have partnered to support both water conservation and resource recovery by making recycled mulch available to the community. Mulch can help retain soil moisture, improve soil health, and reduce the need for watering, making it especially beneficial during dry conditions.

Free mulch is available at the Armidale Waste Management Facility and Guyra Waste Transfer Station only

Dates:
• 5 & 6 September 2026
• 12 & 13 September 2026
• 17 & 18 October 2026
• 24 & 25 October 2026

Conditions:
• Weekends only, no weekday access to free mulch
• Limit of one load per customer
• No deliveries available
• Bring your own trailer or ute to collect
• While stocks last
