Support the Firestation Print Studio to continue to provide a unique opportunity for emerging and established printmakers to create and exhibit their works in an inclusive, collegiate studio and gallery. We have been exhibiting printmakers for 30 years and now require an upgrade to meet the needs of our expanding printmaking community.

The Firestation Print Studio needs a Facade and Gallery upgrade to continue to provide a high standard gallery presentation for our exhibiting printmakers. The Firestation Print Studio is a cherished non-profit art organisation that provides an inclusive creative hub for the community where prints are created and exhibited. Help us continue to support printmakers and printmaking. We support those new to printmaking techniques alongside professional printmakers, there is no elitism, instead there is mentorship, a sharing of ideas, a spirit of engagement and encouragement for one another.

Our ability to upkeep and improve our building and facilities is imperative to our ability to continue to operate in our beloved Firestation as this is a requirement for our ongoing and generous rent support from the City of Stonnington. Please help us make our building shine and keep our unique and adored home for printmakers.

This week the Firestation Print Studio welcomed a group of creatives from the QArt Foundation for a drypoint workshop. Supervisors Bronwyn Rees and Abbi Gilbert were assisted by Patrica Agus and Amy Grover . All participants achieved wonderful results using varied mark making techniques, with the only problem on the day being - they did not want to go home.
We are keen to welcome back this group who showed enormous gratitude to our team and admirable kindness and encourage for one another. We commend them all on their creative talents and stunning prints!
This outreach workshop was proudly supported by the City of Stonnington.
