With more than 30 years' experience as a singer, teacher, conductor, and arranger, Tracey Miller brings the spirit of American Roots and Gospel music to the Bass Coast. After performing in gospel churches across South Africa, New Orleans, and New York, she founded the Archies Creek District Choir (ACDC) six years ago. What began as a small group of nervous but enthusiastic singers has grown into a vibrant 30-voice community choir, performing at WAM (Wonthaggi Acoustic Music Festival) in 2025 and Harmony Day in 2026. ACDC is delighted to present a selection of its repertoire in concert alongside the Inverloch Horn Jam, led by Strat and Lyndal, celebrating the joy of music and community.

Today we had a truly beautiful day celebrating Harmony Week through the Living Cultures Celebration of cultural diversity. It was such a joyful event to be part of.
A heartfelt thank you to Dr Laura Brearley for organising this wonderful occasion. We are so grateful to Aunty Melissa McDevitt Weston for her meaningful Welcome to Country, and to Uncle Ron Murray for his powerful didgeridoo greeting.
It was also a privilege to listen to Matua (Uncle) Arnold Tihema share his Māori greeting. I loved meeting Lisa Kennedy and Aunty Fay Stewart Muir, and it was fantastic to see Mal Webb and Kylie Morrigan, along with the Invy Horn Jam session, bring such vibrant energy to the day.
Most importantly, it was so special to connect with our EAL students. I especially enjoyed watching the Dabke dance from Syria
Today was truly something special.
Thank you to everyone in my choir for being part of this—I’m so proud of you all 🌺🌺🌺🌺
