The ATOD have this year introduced a new excellence award. This is presented to studios of students who attained 100% in their examinations.

Thanks everyone for spoiling me with some cake and gifts and lots of well wishes. Much appreciated and very spoilt 🥰🥺
No better way to spend my birthday than with these gorgeous kids 🫶🏻🫶🏻🫶🏻 and then watching some of our gorgeous ADC kids perform in their school production. Well done Tiff and Sienna, and also to Imogene who was the shows producer 👏🏻👏🏻

We held our exam presentation evening just over a week ago (have been catching up with those that couldn’t attend).
Wow 🤩 what amazing results we have received for our students. So much hard work put in and rewarded with some outstanding results across the board 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

Day 4 - classical solo for Grace 🩰 .
Grace performed her classical with confidence and poise, and used the extra large stage very well. A beautiful performance in a fairly even section of ballerinas 😍
No placing - but a performance to be proud of. Congratulations Grace 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
Between class and solo performance Grace and Danielle managed to catch a movie 🍿, celebrate Graces birthday 🎉 and ensure the cookie 🍪 supplies were replenished!!

Day 3 - mini solos - tap for Amelie.
Karly arrived to meet Amelie at the venue and wish her well. Checked out stage and luckily they’d closed the half curtain to reduce the huge stage size for minis dancers. A little bigger than ADC back studio (that’s half the actual stage) so perfect👌🏻
Left Amelie backstage and sat in audience with Sujani, Sammy and Tenuli (the rules!).
Super proud of Amelie for her conduct to get on an unfamiliar stage, without a teacher backstage, and perform with confidence 😍
No placing - many different tap styles from the different states represented.
This has been an amazing experience for her. Amazing to think she just started solos last year. Onwards and upward 🫶🏻 Congratulations Amelie 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
Between class and solo performance Amelie and family headed down to the Gold Coast for some theme park fun. What a fabulous few days and a great way to extend your birthday week Amelie 🥳

Day 2 - unseen ballet class for Grace with the adjudicator, with a nice early 8:45am start 🥱
Photo at the dance studio and also with the other Victorian representatives.
Danielle and Grace flew to Brisbane yesterday, managed a little sight seeing and now up for the early start for class.
Class done and now some down time before her classical solo performance on Sunday.

Day 1 - unseen tap class for Amelie with the adjudicator.
A new experience for her as the mini champs don’t do class at State level, just at Nationals.
💭 Her thoughts after class - we did a combination and it was lots of fun and I made a new friend! We didn’t have to do time step!!
So glad to hear her class was so fun a that’s what it’s all about!! 😍
The family have managed a little sight seeing in Brisbane, class is done and now a little holiday time🎢 before tap solo performance on Saturday.

Two of our dancers are off to Brisbane for the ATOD Nationals starting tomorrow 😍
After Vic State Champs in June the girls qualified to head to nationals 🏆
🌟 Amelie - mini tap - class Thursday and solo performance Saturday
🌟 Grace - inter ballet - class Friday and solo performance Sunday
Wishing them all the best in Brisbane 👏🏻👏🏻
Thank you to the girls families for their support and for taking up the opportunity to head to Brisbane for this next step.
