It has taken us time to find the words.

For over 27 years, Dynamic District / District Dance Studio has called Donald home.
In that time we’ve celebrated with our Donald Community and we’ve grieved with it too.

The senseless loss of 13-year-old Layla Jeffery has left our regional communities heartbroken.

A beautiful girl who should still be here. Making plans and dreaming about what comes next, still living all the ordinary moments that make up a childhood.

We didn’t know Layla personally, but we know Donald. We know what it feels like when a small town holds its breath together, and when it hurts together. 💔

Today we’re wearing a touch of pink too, to show our love and support for Layla’s family and friends.

To Layla’s family, and all who loved her: please know you are in our hearts.

We stand with you, with respect for your privacy, and with so much love during this impossible time.

Many in our community’s are feeling helpless.
With the family’s permission, one of our Dance Mums has set up a GoFundMe to support them through funeral costs and the weeks ahead.

As our Dance For Sick Kids fundraising event officially closed at the end of May, we are feeling grateful and excited about what we achieved this year! Over 10.5 THOUSAND DOLLARS for sick kids is phenomenal, and we just want to say THANK YOU for all the ways you supported us! We can't wait to do it all again next year, and we hope to have you on our team! 🤩

Congratulations to our spectacularDance for Sick Kids team this year! Our fabulous group of 12 dancers raised the roof for a collective 75 hours last week and raised over $10,000 for the Ronald McDonald House Charity which supports sick kids!
Big shout-out to these fabulous dancers who made up our team:
Miss Ameika, Miss Marlie, Miss Linda, Miss Kyeisha, Miss Lara, Miss Jaxyn, Miss Mara, Miss Jemimah, Miss Jessie, Miss Maddie, Miss Nakyra, and Miss Scarlett.
