🏆Meet the judges of the inaugural Totally Lit Microfiction Prize!

Queensland author, Sheryl Gwyther - Children's Author writes historical novels for Middle Grade readers, chapter books, short stories, school plays for younger children, and flash fiction for adults. Sheryl’s historical adventure set in Australia’s Great Depression, Sweet Adversity, was a 2019 CBCA Notable.

Her writing awards include two Australian Society of Authors’ Mentorships, two May Gibbs Children’s Literature Trust Fellowships, a SCBWI International Work-of-Outstanding-Progress Grant. Sheryl was the Society of Children’s Book Writers and Illustrators Queensland organiser for nine years, and served two years on the ASA Board of Directors.

She also set up the 52-week Flash Fiction Challenge, a successful Facebook group for writers that is now in its 11th year; and was the judge for the Fellowship of Australian Writers Queensland’s Flash Fiction Competition for several years.

Pamela Jeffs is an award-winning speculative fiction author living in Queensland, Australia. She has published numerous short story collections including the Aurealis Award noted Five Dragons and The Terralight Collection. She was the recipient of the 2021 QWC Flinthart Writing Residency. She won the 2023 Aurealis Award for Best Horror Short Story and in previous years, shortlisted for an additional eleven Aurealis Awards, three Ditmar Awards and two Australasian Shadow Awards.
