URGENT CALL OUT TO ALL WOS FAM!
While we'd love to be announcing that we're putting on WOS next year....we're not! Partly because we don't have the means to do it and also the May Day weekend in 2027 will be Blacken Open Air!
The Black Wreath has kept the live music dream alive in Alice and is facing closure if they cannot raise $1M, yep ONE MILLION DOLLARS, to buy the building the venue is in.
Over the past month, Pirate and the The Black Wreath crew have raised a whopping $834K to date.
$1 66.6K to go, that's $11 from everyone of the 15000 followers here, or $100 from 1600 of you or $1000 from 160 legends.
Anyway, they have 4 days to raise the full million or they get nothing.
Get on it and keep the live music community dancing, kicking and screaming in Mparntwe - Alice Springs.
Much love and....LONG LIVE The Black Wreath! 🤘🤘Blacken Open Air
UPDATE: $851K! Final Black Thursday - donations doubled tomorrow up to $100K. Tomorrow is the day if you haven't already.
