Teresa Purla’s paintings are characterised by dots representing dancing tracks imprinted in the sand by the women during Awely ceremonies and other totems and imagery of women’s summer ceremonies. Some works are heavily detailed and depict minute dancing tracks and storylines, others are multi-layered in the ochres and earth colours of her land.

Teresa’s paintings have been widely exhibited nationally, as well as featuring in several European countries including a highly successful joint exhibition with Minnie Pwerle entitled 'Grandmother and Granddaughter'.

Angelina Pwerle Ngala is one of the great contemporary Aboriginal artists of the Utopia region, central Australia. Her work celebrates the bush plum conjuring images of distant galaxies and geological wonders. Angela's work has been collected by many national and international galleries and institutions. Throughout 2024 her paintings can be seen in The Met’s touring exhibition The Shape of Time: Art and Ancestors of Oceania.

Art Money is available on all orders over $1000 and allows you to pay off your painting over 10 months whilst it hangs in your home. There's no extra fees or interest (we pay to offer the service).

Effectively, the cost of the artwork is paid over a 10 month period with the first monthly payment being the deposit which is paid to us. So for an artwork which costs $1000, you pay $100 to us, the artwork is sent to you, and then you pay 9 x $100 monthly payments to Art Money.
