Join the Desart team in Mparntwe/Alice Springs and help support Aboriginal Art Centres across Central Australia.

In this full-time role ($85k–$95k), you'll travel to remote Art Centres, support managers and art workers through professional development, help deliver the Desart Art Centre Conference, work alongside the Desert Mob team, and contribute to strengthening Aboriginal-owned art and culture centres.

We're looking for someone with experience in Aboriginal Art Centres and/or arts management, strong communication skills, cultural capability, and a current driver's licence (4WD and First Aid training provided).

Desart is headed to DAAF 🔆 Join us and come visit our booth from August 6-9!

Our organisation is joining the annual Darwin Aboriginal Art Fair at the Darwin Convention Centre for three action packed days, celebrating First Nations art, design and culture.

We’ll be joined by over 70 Art Centres and industry specialists from right across the country.

Drop by our booth to yarn about how we support artists and Art Centres across Central Australia and be sure to get involved in the Public Program, enjoy a cultural dance performance, look through some incredible artworks - and pick yourself up something special!

DAAF is FREE to attend, with 100% of all sales going directly back to artists and their communities.

Desart are hiring! 📣

We are seeking an Assistant Producer to join the Desert Mob team in Alice Springs/Mparntwe.

You’ll be part of the team behind:
• One of the nation's most significant Aboriginal art events
• A major exhibition of desert art
• Artist talks, workshops and Desert Mob After Dark
• A vibrant art market and satellite events across town

This is a full-time (negotiable) role, $80,000–$85,000, working alongside the Desert Mob Producer and Curators across everything from logistics and budgets to socials, ticketing and event delivery.
