📣 **Desert Sports Foundation – AGM**

The Desert Sports Foundation is looking for **new committee members** and would love to see community members get involved!

The Foundation proudly supports Alice Springs sporting families and athletes when they travel away to compete. Volunteers and committee members play an important role in helping this valuable support continue.

Qi Gong starts tomorrow!

Join us for free Qi Gong with instructor Helen Checker — Friday 7 August, 9:00–10:00am in the Dojo Hall at Alice Springs Youth and Community Centre.

Qi Gong uses gentle, flowing movement and breathing to build balance, strength and calm. It's low impact, suitable for all fitness levels, and no experience is needed. Just wear comfortable clothing and bring a water bottle.

Sessions run every Friday in August (7, 14, 21 and 28) as part of our free Seniors Month program, proudly supported by the Northern Territory Government. All welcome — come and give it a go!

We are thrilled to launch our new Tai Chi program at ASYCC — every Saturday, 11:15 am to 12:00 pm in Higgins Hall, led by our wonderful volunteer Eunice Lee.

This one is for our 50+ community — come along, move at your own pace, and enjoy the company! 🌿
