Yesterday I shared with you a concept sketch of Stevie the Sleepy Lizard, a character that will feature in an upcoming children's book project. Well, now I would like to share with you my concept of the main character named Hannah the Honey Ant.

The thought of illustrating characters for an upcoming children's book project has been freaking me out a little. I was recently encouraged to just give it a try and start with a sketch to give me an idea. This is a concept of a charecter I have in mind, introducing you to Stevie the Sleepy Lizard.

I want each character to have their own identity, some will be loosely based on family member's quirky personalities. What do you think Stevie's is?
