What an exciting night at the Made in the West Film Festival and such a great award to receive.

Social Escape's games were turned into a film set, and now Hold has received four award nominations!

We're thrilled to announce that the short film .shortfilm , filmed entirely on location at Social Escape, has been nominated for four awards at the Made in the West Film Festival. And to our surprise Mark from Social Escape is nominated for Best Production Design!

This honour comes as a complete surprise; a recognition of the incredible work by Social Escape’s head builder, Mark Tvrdeic, who transformed the entire venue into the world of the film along with the Director and production team.

The film is playing on the big screen this Saturday 22 November at Event Cinemas Liverpool, along with a lineup of other amazing short films at the opening night gala event.

Escape Room Prop - Old fashioned rotary telephone.
Dial the correct phone number to pop open a drawer.
Uses an ESP32 controller to read the rotary dial, plays an MP3 file through the inbuilt speaker. The old ringer bells are also functional and ring like the phones of old.
What a surprise when it rings though!
