For Aussies, the local pool can be a place where people process their feelings, make plans, sort through ideas, cool off, and have a great time.

With Chony the 'Life Guard', you will have an opportunity to see the pool with a refreshing, non-sensical perspective. Deactivating what we think swimming in the pool is and perhaps 'having your life saved' or... at least having a laugh.

My new mate... Daisy...

She visit every night at the same time and place.

I left this bowl of water out for her and she sat right in it for hours.

As it's getting hotter, let's remember our wildlife and leave some water out for them.

'Emerging' was an exhibition of student art work.

Students of all ages and abilities who attend one of Chonys Art Rooms classes or workshops across the Sunshine Coast had the opportunity to exhibit their art work in a real gallery setting.

The opening night was filled with joy and colour. Also, brimming with the community that surrounds my business, a community who does their/our best to support each other.

Thank you to The Old Ambulance Station in Nambour for providing us with this opportunity - YAY for regional art galleries!

Also, to all the people who helped me to put this event together for the benefit of my students continuing belief in themselves.

All that's left of our epic exhibition is this epic bit of Graff by local artist SWAK.

Thanks for organising this and being such a fabulous host of these events that bring people together.

Much appreciation for .headshots who captured this photo and many others on the night!

There have been many volunteers of their time throughout the past few months to bring this event to life - thank you! People who saw how much I was / am truly juggling at the moment and coming over to stick black paper onto hundreds of paper artworks etc... picking up easels from @ (thanks for the loan), or just checking in.

Everyone who attended on the opening night and during the week - I appreciate you and feel truly held by the community that surrounds .art.room

And for trusting me as a creative guide for your children or selves-I don't take this beautiful responsibility lightly.

Today is the last day that you can visit Chony's Art Room student exhibtion Old Ambulance Station in Nambour until 3pm.

This exhibition called 'Emerging' is an explosion of colour, joy and multidisciplinary art work from emerging artists that attend one of Chony's Art workshops across the coast.
