Well, the other day I finished setting up my new Alesis Surge Special Edition e-Kit & getting it connected to my old Alesis Crimson II SE e-Kit & configuring both so at least every Pad works listening thru Headph's plugged into the Crimson Module.
They both don't work together in triggering sounds in EZD2 though, only the Crimson comes thru EZD2, which sux balls, big time!! 😮‍💨

I just spent some time resetting the e-Kit up.
I raised the height of everything to more closely match the setup of an Acoustic Kit, & turned it all 'round 90°.
Now it's easier for me to access my Guitars from my Guitar Rack & get to my Mics to pull them out for use, etc... Noiiice! 🤘

Now I still gotta just get my old Alesis DM5 Pro e-kit & Pearl P-922 Double Kick Pedals out of storage to put with it & I be all G2G once I connect both Modules with my 50cm 5-Pin MIDI Cable.

A more recent pic of my Chaos Home Recording Studios' "Studio Corner" in my Motel Room.
I just have to get out to storage to grab my Pearl Double Kick Pedals I bought 2nd-hand for only 80 buckaroos (Aussie Dollarie-doos), my old Alesis DM5 Pro "real head" e-kit to interconnect with the new Alesis Crimson II SE (pictured here), 2 more Electric Guitars, another Acoustic Guitar, a Bass Guitar, 2 Amps (my Joyo ZoMBie BanTamp 20W Hybrid Lunchbox Amp & 8" Cab, & my Peavey Bandit 112 80W Solid State Amp). I don't think I'll manage to fit my 2 Acoustic Kits in my Room withceverything else, so they'll just have to remain in storage for the foreseeable future.

Soon I gonna have my Home Studio all setup in a Room with a Bed & not much space left for much of anything else! 😅😅😅😂

I'm likely buying a large Rug from K-Mart tomorrow to setup my Studio Corner on, which will fit the whole e-kit & throne, all the way to the wall where the Vocal Isolation Booth is in the corner, & out to the small table the Studio PC, Audio Interface & small 4 Ch Yamaha Mixer (a Yamaha MD4 Multitrack Digital Recording Studio with busted MD Recorder) are on. So my left M-Audio BX5 D3 Studio Reference Monitor Speaker & Logitech 2.1 Ch Speaker atop it are going to be on the Rug, the PC, Interface, Mixer, & right M-Audio & Logitech Speakers will be on the Room's carpet.

I'll have to play with the positioning of the e-kit, turn it around to the right so it faces the centre of the Room? Hoping by doing so my 5-Pin MIDI Cable from the e-kit Module to my Steinberg UR44 Audio Interface will reach well enough that I can move the Module back to the left next to the Hi Hat Pad, as well as hopefully creating enough space to better access my Guitars on the Rack & position the Guitar FX Pedal setup better, etc... ERGONOMICS, peoples!! 😂 😘

My ALPHA Reference Monitor Speaker Stands finally arrived today from Melbourne after an approx 3 week wait for Toll/Ipec Albury to ACTUALLY Deliver the 2nd Shipment after fu***ng me around for 2 weeks on the 1st, then sending that 1st package back to Melbourne - the bloody arseholes! 😴

F**k Toll/Ipec Couriers in Albury. They're incompetent eediots! 😡

Anyhoo... so, I have now finally gotten my New M-Audio BX5-D3 Reference Monitors properly setup, along with my old Logitech 2.1 Ch PC Speakers for easy switching between the 2 Sets, &/or both together for referencing a mix on different speakers, as well as both my MotorHeadPhones & AKG K92 Studio Phones, Laptop's in-built Speakers, etc... Make sure a mix sounds decent across multiple devices & through different speakers, from Pro Studio Speakers to Consumer Speakers, etc... Noiiice! 👍

We just purchased our bn pair of Studio Reference Monitor Speakers to complete our Chaos Studios setup.
A pair of M-Audio BX5 D3's that I have been coveting for a few years now.
I finally got them. Just awaiting their delivery.
Seriously cannot wait to try these lovely things out properly, in person, hey? 😍

Alrighty then... I think we're just about done with the writing & arrangement of this latest Chaos original Black Metal Song.
Although, I will likely have a play around with some Bass Guitar in the Intro, and also loikely see how a Piano part goes, at least in the Bridge, possibly in the Intro also?
We shall see. Hahahaha!
It shouldn't be too long before I start playing 'round with this one in my DAW (Studio Software, Reaper), although I will still have to add Lyrics to it also.
I am thinking this 1 will become a part of my Full-length Concept Album that I have some material already written towards. I just gotta get some Witchcraft Books out of my Storage Unit to go through to assist with my Lyrical Writing for it. 🤘
