🏳️ONE FESTIVAL. TWO JOURNEYS. | WHITE

Why not bring a little Parisian spirit to your Albury weekend? 🇫🇷 In the spaces between performances, curate your own gallery, garden and foodie trail through the city — a little art, something delicious, a leafy wander and, when Friday evening opens up, time for dinner before returning to the music.

🍷 Friday night belongs to White…

When Adamshurst finishes at 5pm, White Pass holders have the evening free until the candlelit 9.30pm soirée.

Our suggestion? Yardbird. Settle in for dinner and wine before wandering back to St Matthew’s for Molly Kadarauch by candlelight.

🎨 Saturday | Add a little art

After a morning of music, you’ll find yourself right in the heart of town at the Regent. Pop into MAMA - Murray Art Museum Albury and spend some of the break exploring the galleries before making your way back to St Matthew’s for Daniel de Borah at 1pm.

🥢 Saturday | Lunch at HAPI

White has a beautifully full Saturday programme, so lunch is more something delicious between performances than a long afternoon affair. HAPI on Dean Street makes an easy city stop before slipping back into Festival mode.

🌳 Sunday | Take the long way through the gardens

Sunday gives you a little more breathing room. Wander beneath the magnificent old trees of the Albury Botanical Gardens and enjoy a little green space between a weekend of music.

That’s just one way to do the White journey. Follow ours, borrow a stop or two, or curate an Albury weekend entirely your own.

⚫ ONE FESTIVAL. TWO JOURNEYS. | BLACK

Black is currently fully sold out 🎉🥳 — so this one is for those of you already coming along for the journey. 🇫🇷 Your Ooh là là! weekend has a touch of the French Riviera about it.

The Black schedule leaves some wonderfully generous spaces to enjoy Albury between performances — think the river, a leisurely lunch, and an evening that stretches from dinner to cocktails before the final music of the day.

🌿 Friday | Begin by the water

Before the Festival begins, start with lunch at The Riverdeck in Noreuil Park.

Then take the scenic route — wander beside the Murray and beneath the river red gums before making your way into town for the opening afternoon’s music.

🍝 Saturday | Make the most of a luxurious gap

When Daniel de Borah finishes at 2pm, you have three whole hours before the Black journey resumes at Adamshurst at 5pm.

Perfect for a leisurely late lunch at Norma. Settle in, enjoy yourself, perhaps wander Dean Street afterwards, then make your way back to the music.e

🥂 Saturday night | Linger a little longer

After Adamshurst finishes at 6pm, perhaps a luxurious dinner at Sen? A cocktail at DUX? There’s time to make an evening of it.

That’s just one way to do the Black journey. Follow ours, borrow a stop or two, or curate an Albury adventure entirely your own.

🖤 Black Festival Passes are currently fully sold out. If you’re joining us on the Black journey, explore your Festival programme and start imagining your weekend:

🇫🇷 Could this be any more Ooh là là!? 💚 A little piece of France has turned up in Albury — and we’re rather smitten.

Meet the Little Green Frog, a gorgeous vintage Citroën 2CV that recently caught the eye of the Festival team.

French, fabulously quirky and completely charming… it seems someone understood the assignment. 🇫🇷💚

With Ooh là là! getting closer, signs of France seem to be appearing everywhere we look.

🇫🇷 Festival Artist Spotlight | Louise Blackwell

Paris comes to Albury with Louise Blackwell, chanteuse and leading lady of the French Set.

Louise lived in France for ten years, studying cinema in Lyon and Paris before immersing herself in the Paris jazz scene, where she studied with jazz singers Sara Lazarus and Michèle Hendricks and recorded three albums with pianist Vincent Bourgeyx and trio.

Back in Australia, she brought that experience to Louise Blackwell and the French Set, celebrating the great French songbook with performances that have developed a strong following in Adelaide and interstate. Their award-winning Fringe seasons have included A Night in Paris I & II and From Paris with Love, while Louise’s Love on the Left Bank: Juliette Gréco, the muse of Saint Germain des Prés premiered to critical acclaim at the Adelaide Cabaret Festival.

This year she returns to the Adelaide Cabaret Festival with A FRENCH ROMANCE — before bringing a little of that unmistakable Parisian atmosphere to Ooh là là! in Albury.

Louise appears at our Albury Club Gala.
