I named this large Pastel “Welcome Shade” and it’s a compilation of some snaps I took at the Mayanup Campdraft. I just love the atmosphere and the light playing on those patient horses and riders as they wait in the shade for the next run. This piece is part of the Albany Art Group exhibition at the Vancouver Art Centre where we enjoyed a wonderful opening this morning.
It’s going to be a busy couple of weeks juggling shifts and demonstrations at both the Vancouver Centre and the Lower Kalgan Hall.

These smaller paintings are four of the eight that will be exhibited by me at the Lower Kalgan Hall for Great Southern Art Trail opening Friday 26th at six pm till October 6th. I feel privileged to be asked to exhibit with nine other talented local artists. Definitely worth dropping in to view some amazing artwork and see artists demonstrating their unique style.
