Mermaid Experience
Once I became a mermaid, I had many friends ask curious questions about “mermaiding” so I showed them how to wear a tail, how to swim in it and let them have a go at it. I saw the sheer delight in their faces, and once taking some photos for them to always remember their experience I thought about how many other people would love this opportunity!
Since then I collaborated with Mermaid Kat Academy to use their tails to give people a ‘mermaid experience’ where i teach them about tail safety, some swimming skills and tips/techniques on being a mermaid. Then i get the camera out so they get to keep that memory forever!
Today, I have given that opportunity to many women and men of all ages, sizes and backgrounds as well as to children! Every single one has loved being a mermaid, and some have gone on to buy their own mermaid tails and further their skills.
My belief is; if there are more mermaids, then there are more people to protect the ocean, our home. Without the ocean, life on this planet would not exist.
