Epic day!

My snake artwork on the concrete for the 40th anniversary of the track. I learnt to skate here in the 80’s and lost a fair bit of skin on the track. Stoked to be a part of this event!
With international skateboarder Russ Howell from the States, who was here for the opening 40+ years ago, flew back to be here once again. Legend!

I have availability during February and after March. Broad variety of styles and many years of experience. Indoors, outdoors, vehicles, anything, large or small,, if you have a surface I’m sure it can come to life. I can work with a budget or I can for gold, and travelling is not a problem.

I was recently invited to be a part of the ArtSouth WA and the Southern Art & Craft Trail this year which included the Karen communities contribution. Initially given a basic concept design of the figures and animals in the mural, I was able to put my flare into it. The patterns in the mural are a improvisation/reflection of the textiles and stitching in the textiles used/worn by the people. The poem by a local community member Kwi-La tells the story behind the concept of the mural.
The official opening of the mural by Hon. Alannah MacTiernan on Saturday 1st Oct had a great turnout of the community and other locals.
Truly a great project to be a part of.
Many thanks to Natalie Radivojevic for suggesting my inclusion, Claire Hanson for her help in liaison and everyone else involved. Especially the funding of the mural from Alannah MacTiernan.
I felt extremely honoured to be a part of this.
