Hi everyone, Albany Horsemen's Association will be hosting the first qualifier for this year's 2026 Great Southern Horse of the Year. If you are planning to have a horse or pony qualified for this event, this fixture is a great place to start accumulating qualification points. The program for AHA's March Show Horse event is here for you to peruse. Please review the attached rules for the Great Southern Horse of the Year. If you have any questions or need clarification please message us and one of the team will get back to you. We look forward to seeing you at AHA and the Great Southern Horse of the Year to be held at the Albany Show 2026 on 13th & 14th November.

At the end of 2 big days of competition at the The Albany Agricultural Society Horses in Action Show, we would like to take a moment to thank all of the tireless hours that our volunteers have put in. Many of these volunteers have just helped for a few days over the show but there are those that have been busily working behind the scenes for many hours over the last 5 months!!!!
Without these people and the many hours they donate of their time our shows would not be running.
Thank you to each and every one of the volunteers on the ground. We love and value every single one of you❤❤
