The group met up this morning at Kalgan River. Many thanks to Kalgan River Chalets & Caravan Park for sharing their beautiful spot along the river. Unfortunately it was cloudy and a bit chilly but we’d love to return on a sunny day.

About 14 artists met near Cooinda Park, some up amongst the rocks and some along View St.
Sorry I didn’t get more photos but here’s a sample of what was produced.

The group met up at Parade Street this morning to make the most of the colourful autumn leaves before they are blown away.
It’s really great to see the fabulous work being done and the growing skills in the work being produced.

What is also great is the sharing of knowledge by experienced and generous members, and the friendships formed in the group.

We were very fortunate this morning to have the privilege of painting in a beautiful private garden, full of autumn colour. Gorgeous weather too, almost too hot sitting in the sun but much cooler in the shade.

An assorted bunch of sketches from yesterday’s outing. The weather wasn’t looking too good so we opted for a warm and sheltered spot at Albany art cafe, with some doing table still life sketches and a few others outdoors.

There was a good turnout yesterday despite the cold and windy conditions.
It’s great to see so many different interpretations of Mass Rock and the silos using different materials....... pastels, ink, watercolour and pencil.
Hopefully we’ll be back to nice autumn conditions next week.
