What a perfect way to start the school holidays

🚨 Update: The Spring Social scheduled for this September long weekend has been cancelled due to forecast strong winds and heavy rain. While the event will not proceed, the community can still enjoy free glitter tattoos at Albany Leisure and Aquatic Centre on Saturday, September 26 from 10am to 2pm, and Sunday, September 27 from 12pm to 2pm.

🌸 School holidays start with The Spring Social!

The Spring Social is bringing two evenings of free, family-friendly fun to Stirling Terrace during the King’s Birthday long weekend, and offering the perfect start to the holidays.

Kids can enjoy:

✨ Free face painting and glitter tattoos by Alexis' Creative Faces
🫧 Bubbles and street chalk
🔥 Fire pits with free marshmallows to roast
🌺 Giant roving flower performers that light up after dark
📸 A spectacular floral backdrop for family photos
🎶 Live music with plenty of room to boogie

Scooped on Wheels will also be serving ice cream for the perfect springtime treat. 🍦

Little explorers can take on the Spring Social Stamp Trail, collecting six floral stamps from participating Stirling Terrace businesses to enter the draw for an epic family-friendly prize pack.

I’ll be at the Albany Farmers Market this weekend doing FREE face painting at the nbn Local Help Hub stall! 🎨✨

Bring the kids down for some fun while you enjoy the markets, and have a chat with the nbn Local team who’ll be there answering questions, helping locals check what upgrades are available at their address, and sharing information about connectivity options in the area.
