Revolt. She Said. Revolt Again. is a contemporary post-modern work by Alice Birch who wrote the script as a direct response to the provocation ‘well behaved women seldom make history’.

Through a series of vignettes, it begins as an assault on the language and traditions that have shaped “womanhood” and then becomes something larger: a call to tear down the systems of oppression that divide and diminish us all.

Spectrum Theatre’s upcoming production of Alice Birch’s, ‘Revolt.She Said.Revolt Again’ is shaping up to be an awesome show!

The lighting and sound effects are in. The cast are almost off script. We are excitedly in the final stages, fine tuning before opening night. This slick and edgy play is produced by the same creative team that brought ‘Picnic at Hanging Rock’ to the Spectrum stage in 2023.

We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Musical Director to lead our production of this high-energy, rock-filled musical.
The Role:
• Helping with Casting
• ⁠Building a band
• ⁠Managing band rehearsals
• Work with cast and band to create a dynamic live sound
• Collaborate with the creative team
We’re Looking For:
• Strong musical and leadership skills
• Experience with vocal direction
• Passion for rock music and musical theatre
• Availability for select rehearsals leading up to the season
