Pack your creative passport—we’re heading on an exciting art adventure across Asia!

This term brings a collection of colourful projects inspired by Japan, China, India, Korea and beyond. We will explore striking landscapes, incredible architecture, fascinating animals, beautiful patterns and joyful celebrations.

With step-by-step guidance, students will build their skills in drawing, painting, sculpture and mixed media while creating impressive artworks they’ll be proud to take home. 🎨🏮✨

📅 This nine-week course begins in Week 1 and ends in Week 9, in line with the Queensland state school calendar.
Classes fall between 5 October 2026 and 6 December 2026.

Suitable for children in Years 1–6 of primary school; sorry, strictly no Preps.

Our Spring School Holiday Workshop timetable has arrived—and it’s packed with some of our most exciting projects yet!

Create a giant Polaroid camera portrait, build a crystal cave, paint workshops for Mum/Dad & Me, design squishy dream drinks, draw cosy cats or create your own DIY chessboard.

There are 22 sessions to choose from, including painting, sculpture, sensory art & mixed media workshops for ages 6+.

✏️Term 3 ‘Just Drawing’ classes are now open for enrolments✏️

These classes are perfect for kids who want to build on their drawing skills or just can’t get enough of drawing!

These are still casual, book-as-you-go classes, so you can choose what dates works best for you 💛
Please note that they are only running fortnightly for Term 3.

With highly experienced art teachers & small class sizes,
every child receives guidance, encouragement and the satisfaction of seeing their drawing abilities improve.

Important: Please check the timetable below before booking to confirm the weekly drawing focus. Some subjects are intentionally revisited/repeated across different months or years as part of our skill-building approach. Refunds for this class type are only available with a minimum of 5 days’ notice.

Class details:
-$28 per child (all materials included)
- Primary Classes suit ages 6-10.
- Secondary Classes suit ages 11-15
- 1-hour sessions
- Sunday afternoons

Part-Time Children's & Teen Art Instructor - Albany Creek

My Art Space Studio is seeking a friendly & reliable artist to join our team on a part-time basis.
We are looking for someone who is confident working across a range of mediums & enjoys inspiring children and teens to explore their creativity.

Essential Requirements
• Strong artistic & drawing skills
• Experience working with a variety of mediums including drawing, painting, mixed media & sculpture
• Experience working with children & teenagers
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Warm, positive and encouraging nature
• Ability to confidently demonstrate art techniques & guide students through projects
• Reliable, organised and punctual
• Current Blue Card (or willingness to obtain one)

About the Role
• Part-time position - after school hours only / weekends
• Teaching children and teens from Years 1–12
• Small class sizes (maximum 12 students)
• Supportive and creative studio environment
• Opportunity to contribute ideas for projects and workshops

🚀 Prepare for lift-off — we're heading deep into space! 🚀

For Term 3, students will journey beyond our solar system to create spectacular galaxies, distant planets, astronauts, spacecraft, and mysterious cosmic worlds. Along the way, they'll learn techniques for blending colour, creating glowing effects, building depth, and capturing the vast scale and wonder of space.

We'll explore dramatic contrasts, celestial textures, and imaginative design while developing skills in drawing, painting, and mixed media. Throughout the term, students will have opportunities to try new techniques, explore their creativity and gain confidence in their artwork. 🌌✨

Our weekly drawing classes begin this Sunday, 26th April 😊✏️

Each week, students will build their drawing skills through a clear, guided focus.
