Gallery Sales & Operations Assistant
3-4 days per week (Thursday - Monday) - Immediate Start

Above & Below Gallery is looking for a Gallery Sales & Operations Assistant to join our small, friendly team.
This role combines customer-facing sales, gallery operations, and administrative support, making it ideal for someone who enjoys variety and responsibility.
About the Role
3-4 days per week - Thursday to Saturday roster, with some Sundays and Mondays also required (for cruise ships days)
You’ll be supported and trained initially, with the opportunity to take on more responsibility over time as you grow confident in the role.
What You’ll Be Doing
• Gallery Sales & Customer Experience.
• Deliver warm, personalised customer service that goes beyond standard retail
• Engage confidently with customers about artwork, framing options, and products
• Process sales and assist with artwork packaging and collection
• Keep the gallery looking beautiful and welcoming
• Administration & Operations
• Manage day-to-day emails and customer enquiries
• Assist with orders and record keeping
• Work comfortably with spreadsheets and gallery systems
• Support stock management and general gallery organisation
• Content & Social Support
• Capture in-gallery and behind-the-scenes content using an iPhone
• Assist with Instagram stories, reels, and posts
• No professional experience required - just confidence and willingness to give it a go
About You
• You love to chat and enjoy customer interaction and sales, but also like being organised behind the scenes
• Your customer service skills are better than the average bear
• You’re confident using a Mac computer and learning new systems
• You’re not scared of spreadsheets or admin tasks
• You work well in a small team and take pride in your role
